Confession time: I don't like most contemporary board games.

Here are the games I think you should play while you're stuck inside waiting for COVID-19 lockdown to end -- y'all remember the drill, I assume, from when Anna wrote up a heap of games to play while stuck in.

The Warcraft franchise has always pushed boundaries in the genres it inhabits. Warcraft: Orcs and Humans wasn't the first PC real-time strategy game, but with it, Blizzard helped pioneer the foundation for Battle.net as a methodology (and later a full-scale platform) to enable multiplayer games.

Some mad geniuses designed a way to turn peaceful farming simulator, Stardew Valley, into a competitive esport -- and those mad geniuses also found a way to involve a $35,000 prize pool.
