The Queue: Still the prettiest

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

I finally got the Wild Dreamrunner the other day. It is exactly as majestic as I’d hoped it would be. Now I’m trying to figure out how to make a transmog that goes with it — that yellow green might look nice on the mount, but not so much on my character.

Yes, I am that ridiculous when it comes to new mounts. But let’s just let that slide and get to your questions instead, shall we?

The Queue: Baby Viewin’ Day

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

So is carting babies out to the town square and givin’ ’em a good look just a normal part of Kaldorei society? I mean, does this happen with every kid? If Tyrande and Malfurion ever actually produced an offspring, would they prop it up mid-Darnassus somewhere so people could just take a solid gander at the thing? Or are births so few and far between that the Night Elves feel it necessary to put them on display just to, you know, remind people what babies look like?

Okay that last thought is a little sad, in hindsight. Let’s answer your questions instead.

The Queue: We meet again, Brewfest

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

There was a point where I used to really enjoy Brewfest. I’m not sure where that changed exactly — somewhere in the many years of the holiday being available, my interest waned. By the time the holiday rolled around, I already had gear better than what I could get from Direbrew. I had all the various fun drops. Last year I skipped the event entirely — I think I ran Direbrew on one lone alt that needed a gear boost. But then I realized the event has since had toys added to it, toys that I totally missed in last year’s lackluster run.

So I’m here again, in the chilly hills of Dun Morogh — or on some characters, the heated sands of Durotar — and I am ready to race rams again. So many rams.

You know what, let’s answer your questions instead, okay? For now.

The Queue: I’m definitely Anne

You know, I was all good with each Class Hall I’d been in so far in Legion. They were unique in their own ways, some larger than others, but they had a cool vibe. Then I visited the Paladin Class Hall while doing a quest on my Priest. …holy heck that place is beautiful. It’s amazing! I don’t feel…robbed, per se, but I am envious. Envious to the point where I’m actually considering leveling my Paladin just so I can go hang out in there. I mean…come on.

Oh that’s right we have questions to answer, don’t we. Let’s get to those.

The Queue: Double bubble trouble

I hit 110 on my Forsaken Priest last week. I get the distinct impression that Khadgar isn’t terribly fond of my little undead adventurer. One floating head just wasn’t enough to make sure she wasn’t being shady. Of course she’s Shadow, so technically she’s always shady, but hey we don’t need to tell Khadgar that. Let’s answer your questions instead. I’m sure Khadgar would be much happier with that, right?

The Queue: Not all heroes wear shoes

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

I firmly believe that Thelbus Wimblenod is going to save us all. Without shoes. Because he’s just that kind of hero.

…either that or he’s going to turn out to secretly be a member of the Burning Legion that managed to infiltrate the Vindicaar with his mild-mannered, shoeless gnome disguise. One of those two things. Probably.

The Queue: Have you tried looking up?

Aimee, I understand you’re probably super busy with all your cake-making endeavors, but I find it very difficult to believe you haven’t noticed the giant, malevolent, Legion-infested planet looming over us all. I mean, come on. It’s right there. You know what else is right in front of us? Your questions. Let’s answer some of those.

The Queue: So do we sing it a lullaby or what?

Uhoh, the world is having nightmares. Should we read it a story? Check the closet for monsters? Give it a flashlight? Maybe some brandy? Look, I don’t really know what to do with babies, okay? But I do know how to answer questions, so let’s stick to that.

The Queue: I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you

I’ve been staring at my laptop screen, trying to come up with an intro for a little while now… but I’m blanking on something clever or unique to say. So, in lieu of an intro, here’s a quote from BoJack Horseman, which has surprised me in both its depth and its cleverness:

“Fool me once, shame on you, but teach a man to fool me and I’ll be fooled for the rest of my life.”
