Is it okay to punch a corgi if he asks you to do it? What if you know it’s just an illusion, and that’s definitely not really a corgi politely requesting that you smack it silly? Would you be all right with attacking it even as it’s staring at you with those big soulful eyes and helpfully wagging its little tail as it encourages you? I spent a good ten minutes deliberating these very questions on my latest Alliance alt.
Then the goggles wore off and I punched Flynn right in the kisser. No regrets.

Due to recent events, nobody in my family really felt like doing anything really traditional for Thanksgiving, so my sister suggested she could bring over her “D&D stuff” and run a little one-shot for everyone. Promptly after her arrival it looked like Wizards of the Coast threw up on the dining room table and we spent a good eight hours playing a game that ended up definitely being neither little nor a one-shot. Hai Flutin the Tiefling Bard (Yes, I did that) will make her return at some point in the future, along with everyone else in the party, and nobody’s really upset about that at all.
But hey, we have questions to answer, so for now let’s get to that, shall we?
The Queue: I am the worst bear

You know, over the years I’ve quietly wondered if my memory regarding leveling my first character in WoW was a little misguided. I remembered it was painful and I really hated the lower levels — but the farther I got from those early days, the more I wondered if maybe that was just perception. I mean, I didn’t have the knowledge then that I do now, as far as gameplay goes. So when the Classic demo rolled around, I made another Druid, just to refresh those old memories.
It turns out I was not wrong, it is definitely horrible, and I’m pretty much the worst bear in Westfall. But I’m okay with that, because the wave of nostalgia upon seeing the old stomping grounds again was pretty great. And now, let’s get to your questions, shall we?

Shh, don’t wake the trash panda. He’s had a very long weekend of trashing houses in Drustvar and digging through garbage for interesting trinkets and things to eat. Don’t worry, another five minutes and he’ll wake up with a jolt and realize that BlizzCon is mere days away. In the meantime, let’s answer your questions, shall we?
The Queue: A very tricky Splatoween
I’m absolutely biased — because Halloween is the best holiday ever — but I think this may have been my favorite Splatfest so far. It was Team Trick versus Team Treat in an extra-long, 48-hour fight for domination. Naturally, I chose Team Trick because, well… have you met me?! On top of a fun theme and awesome ink colors (orange vs. purple), Nintendo also recently allowed players to download spooky masks. Totally free, and you got four of ’em to make this Splatfest even spookier than it already was.
All of the above said, Team Treat won (barely), and the Shifty Station this time was cool but the gimmick made for some frustrating choke points, so… Ah, who am I kidding? It was still awesome. I love October!
Oh, right. Queue time.

Don’t feel bad for this troll, he offended the trash loa and must be punished. I also offended the trash loa, which is why I was the poor unfortunate soul chosen to take a chomp at troll tookus. The moral of the story here is maybe you shouldn’t offend the trash loa, which is only appropriate because Jani is the best.
You know what else is great? Answering your questions. Let’s get to that.

I completely forgot, in my leveling alts and grinding reputation, that I hit the requirements to unlock Dark Iron Dwarves as an Allied Race. Whoops! The situation has now been corrected, and I have a charming and not at all terrifying little ball of Monk to level at some point in the future, when I’m done with…you know, everything else I have to level. Terribly sorry Moira, didn’t mean to neglect you!

You know, I probably should’ve expected Bwonsamdi would show up if I managed to get in over my head on Zandalar, but the thought hadn’t actually occurred to me until it happened. I mean, I guess I’d be annoyed with his little jabs, but he’s got one of the best voices in the game so I don’t exactly mind listening to his chitchat.
Let’s answer some questions, shall we?

I’m not sure if these little dudes are after the fish left out on that table, or the lemon on top of the fish. What I am sure of is that they should both be made Battle Pets immediately. I mean…look at them, they’re adorable!
