Wrath Of The Lich King Classic

Throughout BlizzCon 2026, we received plenty of information and news about the huge reveal of World of Warcraft: Forever, the roadmap for the rest World of Warcraft: Midnight, and even teasers for The Last Titan and Wrath of the Lich King Remix.

World of Warcraft Classic has come a long way since its launch in 2019.

Back in 2019, Blizzard finally released the long requested original World of Warcraft experience as World of Warcraft Classic, with the long-term vision being vanilla content released in phases through level 60 and being done.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic has brought back the simultaneously occurring world events Operation Gnomeregan and Zalazane's Fall, both of which are now live!

Prior to BlizzCon 2023, it was a solid bet that the next season of WoW Classic content was going to follow in the footsteps of Season of Mastery: a short form, level 1-60 experience in Classic/vanilla Azeroth.

There are several elements in video games that people love and form attachments to: character and environmental design, music composition, concept art, combat interaction, just to name a few.

The World of Warcraft team shared a 2024 content roadmap that covered everything happening in WoW in the upcoming year.

The fifth and final phase of Wrath of the Lich King Classic has finally arrived!
