The Queue: Playing Diablo with the Doom Soundtrack on

I understand that it may not be to everyone’s tastes, but personally, I can’t come up with anything I’m enjoying more in my convalescence than a rousing game of pretending the Doom Slayer crashed onto Sanctuary somehow and is now showing an entirely new set of demons why the only thing they should fear is me.
It’s the Queue, everyone.

The Queue: The Light at the End of All Things
by Anna Bell on March 31, 2026 at 1:00pm
I am at that peculiar crossroads between excited anticipation, and the melancholy that comes when something is over. The final episode of The Long Dark‘s story mode releases today. While I’ll still be able to keep playing it in survival mode, and revisit the story as well, it remains one of my most cherished gaming experiences, and I had a genuine lump in my throat when they announced it “went gold” on Steam a couple weeks ago.
This is it. It’s almost over. But it’s almost a new beginning.
This is The Queue, our daily column where you ask us questions and I definitely didn’t write this early so I could binge a video game for the rest of the day.

The Queue: Monday already?
by Phil Ulrich on March 30, 2026 at 1:00pm
I definitely did not authorize it to be Monday already. The dilemma of weekends: the more I do on the weekend, the more I feel like I need a second weekend after my weekend because I used the first one up doing stuff, but the less I do on the weekend, the more I feel like I need a second weekened because I wasted the first one.
Anyway, this is The Queue, our daily Q&A column. Grab your favorite morning beverage (I have an iced coffee, unlike the fine captain up here) and let’s get to answering some questions.
