I had only played the first two seasons of Diablo 4 before I took a long break from the game, and I just returned to the brand-new world of Lord of Hatred expansion, with all of the changes and additions that the game has gotten since launch.

It’s like I was just here, but here I am again. Are we stuck in a time loop? Am I trapped in an eternal Thursday? I guess I’ll find out if tomorrow never comes.

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away a standard, but excellent Metroidvania, Doomblade, for free.

The recently-released patch 12.0.5 for World of Warcraft added a nice new feature for Dracthyr Evokers: Battle Visage lets them remain in Visage form during combat, only briefly shifting to their Dracthyr forms during certain specific abilities, and then immediately shifting back.

Patch 12.0.5 launched Tuesday in World of Warcraft, and while there were a lot of features players were excitedly looking forward to -- Decor Duels, Abyss Anglers, or even helping Decimus help us by finishing the Voidforge -- the patch also launched with one major thing players were not expecting or looking forward to: critical bugs that caused the Player Housing system to be disabled, at least in the US and Oceania.

Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred is due out on April 27 in North and South America (April 28 in the rest of the world), but I've already had a chance to play through the game, and I loved it.
