What makes you decide you’re done with a game?
I stop playing games for a variety of reasons.
The Blood Knight is the first new class introduced to the Diablo franchise since the Crusader
This week saw the debut of the Blood Knight, the first new class in the Diablo franchise since the Crusader back in 2014.
Why (and how much) does character customization in video games matter to you?
In the original Diablo, you could just barely make out your character.
Where did Sanctuary come from?
In Diablo 4, more so than any other game in the series, the world in which the Diablo universe is set, Sanctuary, is almost a character with a full backstory and personality all its own.
When will Diablo Immortal Season 13 Start?
Diablo Immortal's Seasons are a speedy affair, typically lasting 28 days compared to the three or four month season cycle we see in Diablo 2 Resurrected or Diablo 3.
What do you consider to be the difference between an MMO and a live-service RPG?
I've been thinking more and more about the question -- "Is Diablo 4 an MMO?" -- since I currently play World of Warcraft, am pretty heavily invested in Diablo 3, was into Diablo Immortal for a couple of months there, and was just utterly charmed by the open beta for Diablo 4.
How fast do you think content should release in an MMO?
Blizzard currently has two MMOs -- the venerable World of Warcraft, which has been in operation for 18 years (19 this November, and it's a little terrifying to realize WoW could vote if it were a person) and the more recent mobile MMO, Diablo Immortal. Now, over the years I've come to consider a certain pace of content delivery to be the norm, but in reality many MMOs release content at a much quicker pace than World of Warcraft.
What takes a game’s monetization from “reasonable” to “unreasonable” for you?
I'm on record as having said that Diablo Immortal was a fun game and that it was possible to play it without spending a cent on it, and I stand by those statements.

What would you think if World of Warcraft adopted a Battle Pass system? What would you want out of it?
World of Warcraft still functions on the "expansions supported by patches" model, where we'll receive 2-3 major patches (and some accompanying minor ones in between) throughout the course of an expansion, then pay for a new expansion up front and repeat the cycle all over again.
