Breakfast Topic: Will you be playing Diablo 3’s Season 4?

Patch 2.3.0 brought a lot of new features and even a new zone to Diablo 3 this week. Not only did it introduce the wonder that is Kanai’s Cube, but it also made changes to how Rifts work, added new crafting recipes, and new armor sets. More importantly, it set the stage for the beginning of Season 4 today.

For those unfamiliar with Seasons in D3, they are limited time events (a few months usually) where you roll a new character with no access to your shared stash, gold, recipes or artisans. If you level them to 70 before the Season ends, you’ll get unique cosmetic armor and, in the case of Season 4, Mathael’s Charger as a mount to use in Heroes of the Storm. There are also new Seasonal objectives to be accomplished that were introduced in this week’s patch. At the end of the Season your character and everything they’ve picked up along the way rolls over into your main account.
