Would you like to see more World Quests?
World Quests are something I do a lot in World of Warcraft, and as such, they’re something I think about a lot. With patch 7.3 fast approaching, I’m very curious about whether or not the ones we have will remain viable as content or if we’ll all switch over to the new Argus zones and leave the Broken Isles more or less to their own devices. But more than that, I’m curious about what will happen to World Quests once Patch 8.0 drops and we’re on our way to our next expansion.
Whatever the next expansion is — Old Gods, Scourge, Azshara, all of the above or something else entirely — I of course hope it maintains and extends the World Quest paradigm, but I don’t just want it in the new 110 – 120 zones. I want it everywhere. I want there to be max level content rotating through every zone in Azeroth, Outland and Draenor. I want it so I could end up going to Hellfire Peninsula, Spires of Arak, Storm Peaks, Twilight Highlands or Jade Forest to do quests. Make use of the vast setting that you’ve created, Blizz. Give us all reasons to go back and see it. Put World Quests everywhere.
But that’s just me. So I ask you — would you like to have World Quests that send you to the Arathi Highlands or Stranglethorn Vale or Deadwind Pass? Or are you hoping for less, not more, from World Quests?
