Winter Veil, bugs, and this week’s rotation and sales in Heroes of the Storm

It’s been an interesting week in Heroes of the Storm. On the fun side, Winter Veil (which runs until January 8) and the 2018 gameplay update hit the live realms. On the less fun side, the new skill-based matchmaking system hasn’t been working quite right, ranking players well below or well above where they ranked last season. Blizzard implemented a fix, but it’s still not bug-free and they’re continuing to investigate the problem. Sorry, ranked players: if the game has tossed you into the wrong ranking, you’ll have to wait on a fix.

But, hey, there’s still Winter Veil to enjoy and everyone’s gotten a free Winter Veil loot box.
