It’s Dragonflight 10.0.7 patch day! Are the WoW servers up yet? YES!

It’s showtime for Dragonflight patch 10.0.7, and the return to the Forbidden Reach beckons. After a maintenance period that was shorter than anticipated, player can now begin reclaiming the reach from the forces of the Primalists. The servers are now up!

So, what do players have to look forward to in the patch? Blizzard has provided extensive update notes to savor during the wait:

Return to the Forbidden Reach to learn more of the story of the Dracthyr Evoker awakening now that the defeat of Raszageth has been secured. This zone includes new content for max-level players delving into the troubles left behind by the meddling of the Primalists and the chaos they’ve left behind among the elements. Players will discover hidden treasure rooms with the Dragonscale Expedition, encounter new bosses and objectives, more storms, new loot to add to their arsenal, and more.

Straight from our patch 10.0.7 coverage, players have quite a list of new features to look forward to including:

  • Explore the creation of the Dracthyr and the mysteries of the Forbidden Reach in new campaign quests. We’ll also revisit Baine and the history of the Tauren as they reckon with their ancestral grievances with the Centaur in Ohn’ahran Plains. Face old foes and heal old cultural wounds to acquire new heritage armor sets for Orcs and Humans.
  • Delve into the Zskera Vaults and solve puzzles to gain and upgrade the awesome Onyx Annulet ring as well as unlock cosmetic rewards.
  • Earn new Dragonriding abilities as you collect new glyphs hidden throughout the Forbidden Reach. Tired of zooming past resource nodes or quest markers? Unlock the ability to hit the brakes on your mount with Aerial Halt.
  • Gain Renown faster by championing one of the new Faction Envoys each day to gain a 10% bonus.
  • Class changes including totally rebuilt talent trees for Retribution Paladins and loosened racial restrictions that allow Worgen, Goblins, and Lightforged Draenei to be Monks.

There’s a lot to look forward to in the new patch, and we’ll see you in the Forbidden Reach!
