How to get the Tusks of Mannoroth in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria

One of the rarest and most coveted drops from the Siege of Orgrimmar raid is the Tusks of Mannoroth. This shoulder piece is literally the tusks of the demon Mannoroth, removed from his corpse and fashioned into armor by Garrosh Hellscream in honor of his father’s feat in slaying the demon (whose blood corrupted the Horde years ago). And back in the day when we were in Pandaria raiding for said shoulders, Garrosh tended to be stingy to drop them.

But thanks to WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria there’s a new way to get your hands on Garrosh’s shoulder armor, and earn the Heirloom weapons he used to drop, too. So do you get your hands on these ultra rare items? You just buy them at one of the Infinite Bazaars run by the Infinite Dragonflight, where they’re sold by Pythagorus. You can find the Baazar in every Pandaria zone, marked on your map by an hourglass.

Both items cost Bronze, the basic currency in WoW Remix, as well as a unique item, the Bones of Mannoroth, which you earn by killing Garrosh in Siege of Orgrimmar on Normal, Heroic, or Mythic difficulty. You earn one bone per kill, with more dropping on higher difficulties. luckily the raids are on a daily lockout so it won’t take you 20 weeks to kill Garrosh 20 times. Though if you want to get the Tusks of Mannoroth and all 11 Heirloom weapons, you’ll certainly have to make a commitment to running Siege.

Here’s what everything will cost you:

  • Tusks of Mannoroth: 38,500 Bronze, 20 Bones of Mannoroth
  • Heirloom weapons: 8,000 Bronze, 2 Bones of Mannoroth

So get out there and kill Garrosh over and over again until you can buy his shoulders. (And it does feel weird to say that.) WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria lasts until August 19, 2024, so you have plenty of time to up every reward out there.
