The Queue: Having a hissyfit

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

Overwatch really killed it on the Halloween skins this year — I can’t get over Lucio’s hair. Or…well, snakes. Snair? Whatever you call it, it’s absolutely glorious. I can’t wait to see what they pull out for the holiday skins this year, I have a feeling they’re going to be amazing. You know what else is amazing? Your questions — let’s get to answering those, shall we?

The Queue: What does the fox say?

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

Look, I’m just going to say it: The Vulpera have basically won the title of most adorable Allied Race, or potentially most adorable playable race altogether. But if they don’t have at least one voice line in which they just randomly utter “Fraka-kaka-kaka-kaka-kow! Fraka-kaka-kaka-kaka-kow! Fraka-kaka-kaka-kaka-kow!” or something along those lines, I’m going to be tremendously disappointed.

You know what isn’t disappointing? Your questions. Let’s get to those, shall we?

The Queue: Classic advantages

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

One of the things I really appreciate about WoW Classic is just the fact that all these old quests that were removed in Cataclysm are suddenly back again. Some of those quests contain information that is still relevant and perfect valid even in the current expansion. I may only be playing Classic occasionally, but it’s really nice to be able to hit up those old story threads for a refresher course in the actual game, rather than tracking down all the relevant information on a website, you know? Anyway, let’s get to your questions, shall we?

And because I can’t possibly say it enough, thank you to all Patreon supporters both old and new for making a weekly show happen. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Now let’s get to all those Queue questions, shall we?

The Queue: Well, this is awkward

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

Oh hello there. I’m sure you didn’t expect to see me today. No, no, it’s okay — I mean it’s a little weird to be here on a Friday, but it’s not as weird as say…running into your alternate reality counterpart that could maybe be considered a sister or, I don’t know, a fraternal-twin-but-not-quite and regardless of which they happen to be it’s just going to make any upcoming family reunions really awkward.

Is there a paradox effect going on here? If the two of them decide to shake hands, are they going to end reality as we know it? Inquiring minds would like to know, please. Until then, we’ll just have to settle for answering your questions. Let’s get to it!

The Queue: Excellent reading material

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

One of today’s questions reminded me to remind all of you that Curse of the Worgen was an excellent comic series that is totally worth the read — or a re-read, if you’ve read it before. Mind you, I like just about everything involving the mysterious Scythe of Elune and the Worgen, so…I suppose you could say I’m biased? I’ll take it. You know what else I took? Your questions, and then I answered them. So let’s get to that part!

The Queue: I also think Malfurion Stormrage is pretty dope

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

Like Rossi, my cohort in lore speculation and sometimes quasi-madness, I too enjoy Malfurion Stormrage. Mind you, when I look at characters I tend to see their potential, and sometimes I feel like that potential is sadly underutilized. But his shift (no pun intended) in Darkshore from obsessed-with-neutrality to terrifying-forest-god was exactly what I was hoping to see one day. You don’t mess with a centuries-old dude who has an almost complete mastery over the powers of nature. It’s just…a terrifically bad idea. Point is, I can enjoy characters even if I don’t necessarily enjoy the way they’re currently being interpreted — which was a lot of my problem with Malfurion. Sometimes his writing just didn’t make logical sense.

Anyway, on to your questions!

The Queue: I can’t see myself

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

Logging into Classic was certainly interesting, once I managed to make it past the exceptionally long queue times. For now, though, that journey is on pause — but hey, given the sheer number of Night Elves bopping around in the starting zone, I think Teldrassil’s in good hands, right? Meanwhile, we’ve got a bunch of non-Classic questions to get to — and one small one at the end. Let’s get to it, shall we?
