The Queue: Neither snow nor rain nor…underwater currents

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

Can we just talk for a second about how weird it is that there are apparently fully functional mailboxes under the ocean? Did the Postmaster know about the Ankoan before we discovered them? Are there other species the Postmaster delivers to that we’re entirely unaware of? Or did we just…bring the mailboxes ourselves? Were they on the ships? Did we drag them through that convenient portal we set up? Are these just super old mailboxes leftover from the original Kaldorei empire — and if so, does that mean the first Postmaster was a Night Elf?

Maybe I’m overthinking this. I’ll stick to overthinking your questions and answering those instead.

The Queue: Feeling a little crabby

Can we just talk for a second about Lady Zharessa? I mean, out of all the really cool naga transformations, she probably got the coolest of them all. Multiple arms and lobster legs? The snake tail on your run of the mill naga is neat and everything, but I suspect being able to deliver death pinches is a lot more useful in the long run.

You know what else is useful? Questions with answers. Let’s get to those, shall we?

Don’t worry, everything’s perfectly normal here, nothing to question in the slightest. Except, of course, the questions you guys have for us — so let’s go ahead and answer some of those, shall we?

The Queue: When all is said and done

What is your character going to do when the world is saved and there are no more battles to fight? Mine’s going to join the legion of Azeroth cat ladies. I’ve decided this. It’s a done deal. World’s saved, we’re good, it’s kitty central for my character, and nobody is going to stop her.

Let’s get to your questions!

For anyone that might have questioned whether or not I was serious in last week’s Queue, oh yes. Yes I was completely serious. I have so many shirts you guys. And all of them are now happily on display on my characters, exactly where they should be.

I mean yes I love the new zones and quests and cool stuff but…shirts, you guys. Embrace the shirts.

The Queue: It’s almost time

Just a day left until we’ll be wandering the watery wastelands of Nazjatar and poking around the gnomish paradise of Mechagon — are you ready? Honestly, I’m not sure what to do first — the war campaign, hitting up Nazjatar, delving into Mechagon, or just wildly playing with restriction-free transmog for the first couple of hours.

Let’s face it, it’s probably gonna be that last one, which conveniently enough leads into our first question of the day. Let’s get to it!

The Queue: When will my reflection show

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

I was pondering my extended and lengthy existence in World of Warcraft this week, and you know what’s missing? Mirrors. Even in the fanciest of fancy places, I cannot recall ever seeing a functioning mirror anywhere in Azeroth or beyond. Ever try standing in front of the mirrors in the barber shops? You won’t see anything reflected in them. They aren’t even in places like…I don’t know, tailoring shops or transmog shops where you’d expect to see a mirror. None of my characters have ever actually seen their own reflection.

You know what this means, right?

We’re all vampires.

The Queue: Khadgar’s still proud of you

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

It’s the beginning of the work week, and maybe you’re feeling a little downtrodden, but just remember — Khadgar still thinks you’re amazing. He’s proud of what you’ve accomplished so far, and he can’t wait to see where your journey takes you from here. He might still be a little annoyed about that whole faction war thing, but you? You’re perfect, just the way you are.

Let’s get to your questions.

I’m pretty sure Anachronos didn’t mean to be all meta, but I like to think we’re in agreement that Garrosh Hellscream got kind of a raw deal as a character, despite how nicely his story dovetailed in the end. Thrall, I know you’ve been gone and there are important things you’re going to be up to, but we better be getting some discussions about this at some point in the future – just saying!

Let’s get to your questions, shall we?
