It’s not that I never have fun in November — I have a lot of fun things planned for this month already! — but I still don’t like November. To me, it’s always signaled the end of fall and the start of winter, and winter is something I absolutely cannot stand. It’s cold, it gets dark way too early, and oftentimes, driving is a nightmare because of snow.

So I say “No thanks!” to November and kindly ask that it be October again. I think that’s reasonable, right? Regardless, we’re not here to discuss blizzards — we’re here to discuss Blizzard.

Let’s have ourselves a Queue.

We're nearing the end of Spooktober, but that doesn't mean the fun's about to end -- the opposite, in fact!

It's a well-established fact that the Old Gods are our friends and only want good things for us.

It should be no surprise to anybody, but I love spooky things.

I don’t think it really needs to be said, but goodness, do I love Spooky Season™. I didn’t get to quite do as much this year as I wanted, but today is a day of pumpkin picking (and carving), apple cider and donuts, and some crisp fall weather. And hey, it’s not about the time of year you get spooked, it’s about the spooks that live in your heart, outside of time.

So I hope you make today and this weekend especially spooky but that you also keep the spookiness alive throughout the rest of the year. I believe in you! I also believe…

Metroid Dread came out a couple weeks back, and it surprised my in how unforgiving the game could be at times -- I died a lot more than I expected to during my playthrough.
