Diablo 4

I have played a mountain of video games, especially role playing games like the Baldur's Gate series -- the old-school, isometric style of gameplay where the map is static and combat is turn based.

A lot of the focus on Diablo 4 patch 1.1.1 have been on the class changes, mainly for Sorcerer and Barbarian.

Big changes are coming to Diablo 4 when patch 1.1.1 is now live.

The westernmost region of Kehjistan in Diablo 4 is home to three distinct Strongholds: Alcarnus, the Altar of Ruin, and Omath's Redoubt, all dangerous ruins in the sands.

The Strongholds within the Dry Steppes in Diablo 4 are particularly challenging, overrun with cannibals, bandits, and Diablo's ever-present demonic hordes.

I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3 and Diablo 4 and, man, if you'd told me around 25 years ago that the two biggest games of 2023 would be a Baldur's Gate game and a Diablo game, I probably would have actually believe you -- which isn't something that could be said of most series.

After the initial set of Diablo 4 patch notes for its first season, the Season of the Malignant, many Sorcerer players were distraught with the many nerfs the class was being subjected to.

The upcoming Diablo 4 patch 1.1.1 will primarily focus on class changes, with improvements to the Sorcerer and Barbarian classes after they received significant nerfs in patch patch 1.1.0.

One of the most interesting new features in Diablo 4 is Strongholds, areas overrun with enemies that you can conquer to discover new dungeons, towns, waypoints, or just areas slightly less overrun with monsters.
