What World of Warcraft event do you wish you had participated in when it first went live?
After not being able to play much when Dragonflight patch 10.1 came out, I'm finally making an effort to work with the Loamm Niffen in Zaralek Cavern and I'm having a lot of fun.
When was it “game over” for you in the World of Warcraft?
There is an ancient poem that says: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: to everything there is a season turn, and a time to every purpose under Heaven.” For players of the World of Warcraft, many will eventually come to the end of their playing season.
What’s your go-to game when you’re sick?
Welcome to the end of September, Watchers!
What makes a game’s flaws forgivable to you?
I've heard it said that no game is perfect -- even great games, nearly universally beloved ones like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Red Dead Redemption 2 have aspects that annoy even the most staunch apologists.
How can Blizzard improve World of Warcraft’s Harvest Festival holiday?
Dragonflight patch 10.1.7 has started bringing updates to old holidays, with Brewfest getting additional activities and even Pirate's Day adding new Dragonriding armor to purchase.
How do you feel about the Brewfest Armor drop rate?
As part of the holiday refresh in Dragonflight patch 10.1.7, there are new Dragonriding armors available to earn.
What are your favorite new additions to Brewfest this year?
It's the most wonderful time of the year in the World of Warcraft -- Brewfest!
How do you deal with waiting for an exciting game update when you already have so much to do in the current patch?
I get future envy a lot when it comes to games like World of Warcraft.
Why do games have such terrible inventory systems?
There's some kind of evil extradimensional entity that makes developers simultaneously create huge, expansive open worlds for players to explore while also including a crafting system to make things.
How do you make sure to keep your criticism constructive?
Even the games I love have things that I don't like. World of Warcraft has the interminable class balance problem that it has always had (and probably will always have) magnified by player perception that if a class isn't exactly as good at every aspect of gameplay as everyone else trying to do that aspect -- yes, I'm looking at you, tanking -- that said class is garbage and must never be brought to a dungeon or raid.
