If every patch had to include one specific addition to the game, what would that one thing be?

I really do not know how I feel about Timewalking dungeons. On the one hand, as I've discussed before, I'm excited to go back in time with the modern Enhancement toolkit, since there are many times when massive AoE damage and useful crowd control were the pinnacle of dungeon design.

Yesterday it was announced that yes, we would be able to take to the skies and fly in Draenor after all -- but not without some work on our end. Flying in Draenor will be something we can unlock through obtaining a series of achievements and reputations, rather than paying a giant chunk of change to a vendor.

Let's face it. We all have our /facepalm moments -- whether in World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, StarCraft, or even in some of the newer titles. Or, we have experienced other peoples' failures -- and still look back to laugh at them.

Last night's Blizzard Watch podcast had some interesting discussion about world events, and it reminded me of something I'd completely forgotten about -- the elemental invasions. No, not the ones we experienced just before Cataclysm roared into existence, I'm talking about the old world elemental invasions that were added back in patch 1.4.0.

Microtransactions are big in gaming right now — and in Blizzard games, some of those "micro" transactions don't seem so micro.

As a game that has existed for over a decade, World of Warcraft has seen a number of graphical improvements to the original models of various monsters, NPCs and, as of Warlords of Draenor, even to character models that constitute the various races players can choose to play as.

Much like I feel daily quests were unfairly poo-pooed in Mists of Pandaria -- ignoring the root of the problem and laying blame at the feet of what one saw on the surface -- I think the Command Table in Warlords of Draenor is getting a bad rap.
