The Queue: A Dark Portal of our very own!
I never exactly planned to put a Dark Portal in my front yard, but now that I know I’ll be able to get one, of course I am going to put a Dark Portal in my front yard. There’s no greater status symbol than to show off to your neighbors that you have your own Dark Portal.
But then, of course, when all of my neighbors have a Dark Portal it’s not going to be cool anymore and I’ll have to find something else. But for this little slice of time, I will cherish this Dark Portal of my very own.

The Queue: naptime?
It’s funny. It seems like almost nothing makes me more tired than having a few days where I’m forced to essentially do nothing. Not sure if my body just really likes doing nothing, or if it just kinda… gives in, and tries to catch up, but man, I’m feeling it today.
This is The Queue, our daily column where you ask us the questions and we’ll… get around to answering at some point, after we lie down for just a second.

The Queue: Wanna get Wyrd?
I’ve just come from a big tour of the local craft brewery scene, and boy, are my arms tired! For my second year in a row, and fourth overall, the local brewers have put on a celebration of the weirdest beers that they can make. I’ve drank cricket beer, ice cream beer, and ice cream float beer, donut beer, chicken wing beer, and even an absinthe barleywine! One of them was garnished with a scorpion! Unfortunately, I wasn’t one of the first 100 people to show up for prizes, so I didn’t get a cool medal — but I think I made the right choice to not stand outside longer in -20 °C weather for that. It was a long, strange, and strangely delicious trip. Nothing was truly awful, and the ice cream beers were really good, although I could do without crickets floating in my drink. I can’t wait to see what they get up to next year!
While I take a much-needed drink of water, it’s time for our daily question and answer column — The Queue!
