Community Manager Rygarius confirmed today what many Alliance players had been hoping for: the Greatsword of beloved NPC Admiral Taylor will be available for transmogrification in Patch 6.2.

Though Last Week on Blizzard Watch usually runs on Tuesdays, we were a bit distracted by patch 6.2 hitting the PTR and the launch of a new round of giveaways from NewEgg.

Many of us use and love Warcraft Logs. Whenever World of Logs quit updating during Siege of Orgrimmar, Warcraft Logs appeared and took the raiding community by storm. The header image isn’t Epicyon, but rather Borophagus, another species of prehistoric North American canid. The picture was a reconstruction by Charles R. Knight, who was one of the first and best paleoartists. Considering how he worked in an era when we still had some pretty huge misconceptions about prehistoric animals like dinosaurs, Knight always gave his paintings a sense of grace and life. Just look at that Borophagus he painted, at the winsome face he gave it. I’d love to see that in game.
