There's been a lot of excitement about Diablo 3's upcoming patch 2.3.0 and that's fantastic.

I have to admit, I like it when games are designed by people who are enthusiastic about it. And game designer Kent-Erik Hagman fits the bill. Reading this interview with VentureBeat, my immediate thought was that I'd like to get a chance to watch this guy play the game because he's just so into it. Maybe we could make that happen, Blizzard?

Class build guides will take care of very specific stats to acquire on gear, but I feel it's important as a Diablo 3 player to understand why we pick the stats we do. Players should be able to experiment with different builds by generally knowing how to support those builds with their gear without needing a precise gearing manual or spreadsheet at hand.

A new Diablo 3 patch has been released today, and although there aren't a ton of changes listed, there are quite a few bug fixes that have been addressed.
