We've made it to the home stretch before the release of the next expansion for World of Warcraft, Legion.

Now that Legion has moved out of alpha and into the beta stages of development, more aspects of Restoration Shaman are being solidified as the ever-looming release date comes closer.

The Legion alpha is still moving forward and we are inching ever so much closer to the beta phase and then release.

Last time we talked, I gushed about our new class order hall.

As we make our way through the Winter Veil season, updated builds of the Legion alpha have been released, and with them we are starting to get our first looks at both the Restoration Shaman spells and abilities as well as the Restoration Shaman Artifact, the Scepter of Azshara.

I like to tell this story from time to time because it's cute.

In the upcoming Legion expansion, one of the new features is the Artifact, a weapon steeped in lore that gains power not only as you level, but also as you spend time questing and completing goals even after you reach the max level.

As a healer, there are fights that are just no fun.

DragonCon has come and gone, and with it we got another set of juicy tidbits regarding the upcoming Legion expansion for World of Warcraft.
