New Blood Elf customization options have made it into the Shadowlands alpha!

Shadowlands is bringing back the class fantasy feeling of Legion, so much that they cheekily called it "The Unpruning" — undoing the "surgical pruning" that had been happening since Warlords of Draenor.

This week, we found out that Void and Blood Elves were getting a series of customization options that would include skin tones and glowing blue eyes that would allow either to look like a Warcraft II-era High Elf.

In a surprise news post, Blizzard has shared some very exciting new customization options for the Elves of Azeroth -- whether they serve the Alliance or the Horde.

For me, it's Artifacts and all the gameplay that we had around them that stand out as the best expansion-defining feature World of Warcraft has had in quite some time.
