You ever ask someone a question out of politeness and then they start telling you about what you asked, but they just won’t shut up, and they have even more to say? One member of the Queuemunity sure did!

It's been a few days since Diablo 4 formally released, so I figured it's a good time to ask how we're doing with it so far.

When I've asked friends about which titles they're using in Diablo 4, there are two general sets of answers: the people who are taking this very seriously, and the people who are trying to craft the most ridiculous name for themselves they can.

I cracked this joke in the fabulous Blizzard Watch Discord, and if you think I’m going to let a gem like that go by without rehashing it, you must be new here, hi. One of my favorite things about playing Diablo is being able to juxtapose the gritty, literally dark gore against lighthearted jokes.

Pausing a game in order to briefly step away is crucial part to a healthy gaming/life balance for many of us, but that doesn't mean Diablo 4 got that memo.

I don't exactly want to complain about the embarrassment of riches we currently face.

The idea for this discussion stemmed from the very careful, excellent research by Christian Thoma and Phil Ulrich in our Diablo 4 characters series.

It’s funny, when a game makes radical changes, sometimes there are little quirks you don’t realize until later. Sometimes a mechanic will change so that something that didn’t work before does now, and sometimes it alters your playstyle drastically because of it.

Anyway, if you like Hearthstone’s Battlegrounds, now you don’t need to have a churn slot open if you’re playing minions just for Magnetic. If only I had known…
