Diablo 3 Patch 2.2.0 is now live

Diablo 3 Patch 2.2.0 is now live for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Please note that this is only for the Americas -- Europe and Asia have yet to patch. The patch notes for 2.2.0 are pretty huge, but the highlights are pretty sweet -- three new Treasure Goblins have been added to the game in Adventure Mode, there are two new Legendary potions, two new Legendary gems, dozens of new and revamped Legendary powers, and some new sets for Barbarians, Demon Hunters and Wizards.

Draenor and Outland comparison gallery

Imgur user Gamerlen put together a pretty remarkable gallery a few days ago featuring some striking comparisons between Draenor and Outland. The gallery highlights some of the very, very visible areas of Draenor, like Auchindoun and the Temple of Karabor, as well as the fate they saw when Draenor shattered into Outland. But even more interesting are the areas we didn't really think about when we saw them on Draenor.

The Queue: Suspended

Welcome to the Queue, the daily Q&A column for all things Blizzard.

Earlier this week I was goofing around in Dragon Age: Inquisition and found a really neat set of ruins where everything was just … frozen in time. It was weird and kind of creepy. But it was also really visually striking, and I found myself thinking back to the Caverns of Time and how I’d like to see more stuff with it. It also made me wonder if bronze dragons have the capacity to simply halt time altogether — after all, we got a really cool sequence of time reversal in the Murozond encounter during Cataclysm. I’m sort of hoping we haven’t seen the last of the Infinite or the bronze dragonflight, because both concepts are just too interesting to pass up.

Also, I did in fact fix the whole frozen temple thing and everything promptly collapsed. I’m still a little sad about that one.

Role Play: Pandaren and age in roleplay

The pandaren race was introduced in Mists of Pandaria -- so what exactly do we know about their age and lifespan? Not much at all, really, which leaves the process of making a pandaren character a pretty big open book as far as determining the correct age is concerned. Then, too, is the history of the pandaren race, which has also been left much like a few other Azerothian races with a few key, defined events, and then a lot of nothing in between.

The Queue: We need more Rexxar

Welcome to the Queue, the daily Q&A column for all things Blizzard.

One of today’s questions reminded me that we really don’t have enough Rexxar right now. That’s a situation that should be fixed, because Rexxar is basically the best, even if he doesn’t have Misha on this version of Draenor. I’ll forgive that. But I still think we could use more of everyone’s favorite Mok’Nathal.

Know Your Lore: Wrathion and Draenor

Wrathion spent pretty much the entirety of Mists of Pandaria sending us on errands -- and now it appears the Black Prince is on Draenor. Yet despite evidence of his presence, he's nowhere to be found. Then, of course, is the question of why Wrathion would be on Draenor when it's the safety of Azeroth he's concerned with, especially after his visions of the world being overrun.
