Batman Beyond was my favorite piece of Batman media in the past 100 years. Basically, if you take every single thing Batman has ever appeared in, ever, and yes I’m including the Brave and the Bold cartoon, then Batman Beyond is not only my favorite, if you said you were about to press a button and destroy all appearances of Batman that ever existed and I could only save one, it would be Batman Beyond. It has Kevin Conroy’s best turn as Bruce Wayne, some of the best writing that really deals with the fact that Bruce Wayne may care a lot but is absolutely terrible at showing it and what the consequences of that are, and man, I really enjoy Will Friedle as Terry. He manages to be a different kind of Batman while still be recognizably Batman.

Standouts for me are the opening few episodes establishing the character, the future Justice League episode, and the Return of the Joker movie which features an excellent turn by Mark Hamill and the Ras al Ghul episode with Talia and the line “You? She kissed me.”

Plus the show had a great opening.

When we saw the Maw open up on the Shadowlands alpha, a lot of us noticed Calia Menethil conspicuously standing over by the Horde leaders.

We've talked about Unearthed Arcana here before, focusing on Subclasses to change up how your favorite class plays, but the latest playtest content from Wizards of the Coast for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition is something a little different -- instead of focusing on new subclasses to alter a specific class, it decides instead to give you new feats which can be taken by almost any class (although some wouldn't be very useful for all classes).

Corruption was the major gameplay system added to bring more depth and choices to itemization in Battle for Azeroth's patch 8.3, and it's seen a lot of updates, hotfixes, and changes since it went live.

Well, maybe not every spec -- the language being used by Lead Game Designer Morgan Day is a bit more ambiguous than that -- but it's a definite shift away from where we are now, with each Artifact appearance locked to the spec that the original Artifact was for.

The Balance of Power quest line, beginning with The Power Within, required players to run multiple Mythic+ dungeons and several Legion raids to complete.

The Shadowlands beta is starting next week, and it will give us our first look at the complete Covenant system, including the new Sanctums feature.

A while back we talked about the Maw, which is the intro experience for Shadowlands.

This is Purgatorius, a genus of eutherian mammal dating back around 66 million years. The type species was Purgatorius unio. This little animal was alive during the reign of the dinosaurs, and it may be related to — perhaps even ancestral to — modern primates. Even if it isn’t, it is likely extremely similar to our earliest primate ancestors. I bring this up for a reason, that will be apparent once I start answering questions.

During today's Shadowlands developer update, we learned that the alpha test is essentially close to being finished, and that the beta test will start next week.
