Okay, sometimes you look at the previous day’s Queue and you realize you gotta just jump in.

This is that time. This is that Queue.

It's been a defining characteristic of the game since it launched in 2004, and it's the driving conflict that provides the narrative engine for Battle for Azeroth, the game's latest expansion.

In 2017, Blizzard did a really big Gamescom reveal, with Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft all seeing fairly large announcements, as well as Overwatch dropping the Mei short video for folks.

So this past week the new DLC for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey came out, the raid finder for Crucible of Storms dropped, and I finally got the final DLC for Pathfinder: Kingmaker, so there’s been a lot of games I could be playing while at the same time I have real life stuff to do. It gets kind of tense to try and carve out time to play when you feel like it means you’re not doing what you’re supposed to do. Right now I’m giving myself a little time to play Kingmaker while writing this Queue. That’s my Aasimar Paladin, who is really mostly just a Two-Handed Weapon Fighter with  one Paladin level just to be contrary. Both this game and the Odyssey DLC have made for a lot of enjoyment this week, so I’m gonna ask you guys — what have you been enjoying? What are you guys finding yourselves engrossed in?

Every so often I try and play a ranged class in Diablo 3 and/or World of Warcraft.

We've already talked about how the story of Diablo 3 opened.

It's no secret around here that I love Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Okay, to be fair, it probably isn't Anduin Lothar.

That headline is pushing it, but not by much. Last Call is one of the best modern fantasy novels ever written -- it does things with magic, occultism, general weirdness, conspiracy theory and the pure strangeness of actual historical events that shows like Stranger Things and The X-Files are still playing catch up with.

It's no secret that Diablo Immortal didn't get an enthused reception from the crowd at BlizzCon last year -- while you'd think that more Diablo is always a good thing, players have a lot of negative opinions about mobile games.
