I stop playing games for a variety of reasons.

If you're playing Diablo 4 Season 1, the Season of the Malignant, and you haven't been able to get Malignant Hearts to drop for you, that may be because of the way the Season theme works this time.

Today I did something I've literally never even thought about doing — I skipped the campaign in Diablo 4 on a Seasonal character so I could just jump them straight into Season 1.

Because the upcoming Season of the Malignant is Diablo 4's first Season, there's a fair amount riding on the core mechanic: Malignant Hearts.

Season 1, y’all.

I might stretch myself and play a Barbarian this time. Also, man, nobody told me that this sword model is finally in World of Warcraft after me literally asking for it since Wrath of the Lich King.

Remember back when World of Warcraft let you use the Auction House from your phone?

Honestly, my upward progress in Diablo 4 has hit a stretch I'd describe as “excruciating,” except that I feel that's not really strong enough.

Today’s music is “Save Me” by Damageplan, a band that should have had several more albums. With the death in 2018 of Vincent Paul Abbot and the murder of his brother Darryl Abbot in 2004, that will never happen. But I still loved that song, and I listen to it often to this day.
