The Battle for Azeroth hype is heating up, with the datamining beginning in earnest.

It's become synonymous with Blizzard, but have you ever really thought about how that big Orc statue at Blizzard Entertainment got there?

There's a lot of information out there about Allied Races, datamined from the 7.3.5 PTR and other places, and that's great.

If you've been playing WoW for a while, you're familiar with the way each class sees design changes with the coming of a new expansion.

Recently, Andrea Toyias, Senior Casting and Voice Director at Blizzard and person who holds some of the coolest panels at BlizzCon, tweeted about an article at Rolling Stone covering Overwatch. I think it's one of the most succinct ways to describe the Overwatch phenomenon in terms of its ubiquity.

I still play World of Warcraft, but I tend to do it by myself.

That’s right. The whole setting is just Jaina’s campaign. She’s still a kid growing up on Kul Tiras and literally everything that we’ve ever seen in a Warcraft game is just her imagining of exciting events in the world. That’s why it was Stonewind in the first campaign but ended up Stormwind in the second, that’s why the world keeps getting bigger — she just makes up new places whenever she needs a new place for her players to go explore — and that’s why poor Azeroth is the center of such ridiculous forces out to destroy it.

I tell you, Jaina’s a heck of a DM.
