Christmas makes me feel kind of melancholy because of the memories of people who are gone, that I’ll never see again, that I find myself remembering. It’s not bad to miss absent friends and loved ones, but it is a certain kind of sadness. It’s one I feel every December 25th. And it’s one I’m feeling today.

I’m listening to Big Empty by Stone Temple Pilots. You can probably figure out why.

I admit, I used to have a hard time with this concept.

Our look at Artifact weapons at last comes to those wielded by Mages, the masters of Fire, Frost, and the Arcane.

One thing I've learned from running Legion's new five player dungeons is, tuning mistakes (and bugs) aside, I really like both new five player dungeons.

Lately I've been thinking about going Horde so I can play a Tauren.

This one's easy.

I’m starting to think that Warlords of Draenor scratched my Draenei itch so completely that I may need to play Tauren as my main in Warlords. I tanked on a Prot Warrior for our Alpha stream this week and I had a good time with it, even if it feels like Prot desperately needs an on-demand self heal (at present it lacks one) and a bit more bite in terms of offense. The Artifact quest for Prot got a little harder with the most recent set of changes — I basically had to spec Second Wind and spend a lot of time stunning everything with Shockwave and running away until Second Wind healed me up.

But this isn’t a Warrior post, so let’s talk about your questions. Spoiler warning is in full effect. Also, please don’t talk about the new Star Wars movie. Some folks are really excited to see it, let’s not wreck that for them.

Tauren are awesome.

The really fascinating thing (to me, at least) about an alpha or beta test is getting to see iterative changes.
