What video games are you currently hyped for?
The first DLC for Horizon Forbidden West titled Burning Shores is out this week, and I would be totally hyped for it -- if I had completed HFW when I had a chance.
What scenes in your favorite games or other entertainment have all the feels?
Over the years, there have been more than a few moments in World of Warcraft that have caused maximum feels.
Which class are you most excited about in Diablo 4, and why?
Many of us have had the chance to try out Diablo 4’s classes in the recent beta tests, and we probably all have our favorites.
What aspects of pop culture feel most egregiously adapted in video games?
I think for me the most egregious example of a video game managing to completely miss the spirit of the original concept being adapted is how World of Warcraft handles the Old Gods.
What would you like to see happen with Diablo 3 Seasons after June?
On June 6 of this year, Diablo 4 launches. Right now, Diablo 3 is in the midst of Season 28, and that’s likely to end just before June.
With a new patch less than a month away, how do you feel about Blizzard’s roadmap for WoW?
Just in case you've forgotten, patch 10.1 is coming out in a month.
What are some of the best Easter eggs you’ve found while gaming?
Plenty of artists, filmmakers, and creators of all sorts have placed little references and call-backs to different characters, locations, and inside jokes within their works for the keen-eyed and observant to find since time immemorial.
What hooked you on fantasy as a genre in games, books, or other entertainment?
If you play World of Warcraft, you’re delving into a world of fantasy and magic.
What do you miss about Shadowlands?
I'm not sure why but I'm feeling nostalgic lately -- maybe it's all the Timewalking I've been doing, maybe it's the pre-patch 10.1 anticipation (not that I'm done with all the new content from patch 10.0.7, mind you).
What do you do when your gaming schedule gets too crowded?
Diablo 4 is coming out in June.
