The Queue: If there were monsters in the closet, well I don’t think I would be surprised
This may sound odd, but one of my favorite things to do when I can’t sleep is to put on a horror movie and try to accomplish some work or another. I can’t really explain why, but it’s something I’ve done for a while now.
Anyhow, it’s Tuesday, which means it’s also QUEUEsday. Let’s roll.
The Queue: Actually WoW is Mike Morhaime and Chris Metzen’s ultimate DND session
I’m drinking my Monday morning coffee from my custom Blizzard Watch mug and eating some pineapple for breakfast.
So far, this week is off to a great start! Let us Queue.
The Queue: Warcraft is just Jaina’s weekly D&D group
That’s right. The whole setting is just Jaina’s campaign. She’s still a kid growing up on Kul Tiras and literally everything that we’ve ever seen in a Warcraft game is just her imagining of exciting events in the world. That’s why it was Stonewind in the first campaign but ended up Stormwind in the second, that’s why the world keeps getting bigger — she just makes up new places whenever she needs a new place for her players to go explore — and that’s why poor Azeroth is the center of such ridiculous forces out to destroy it.
I tell you, Jaina’s a heck of a DM.
It’s the Queue, let’s talk Blizzard games. You know why? Because Jaina rolled for initiative.
The Queue: Khadcar
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
I got a new car over the weekend — well, a used car, but new to me. It’s very fancy and has a dashboard display that lets me set my own wallpaper. Khadgar is there now. He’ll live there forever…or at least until the next owner of this vehicle discovers him upon purchasing it. It’s like a terrifying, real-world mobile Wondrous Wisdomball!
…I really like this car.
The Queue: Unbelievable
Absolutely unbelievable. Mitch has never seen Lilo & Stitch, which is a complete travesty.
Ah, and if you weren’t following yesterday’s Queue comments, you have no idea what I’m talking about. Sorry about that. But let’s get on to answering some actual video game questions… though I do go off on a Disney tangent at the end. (Just scroll to the bottom if you don’t care.)
Onward to the Queue!
The Queue: There was no ‘Horror’ option
I’m a fan of both action and comedy, but I ended up siding with comedy for this most recent Splatfest. I was somewhat surprised, however, to see action won in terms of popularity 58% to 42% — don’t worry, comedy won the overall contest. That said, I’m a horror fan at heart <3
Let’s Queue.
The Queue: WoW RTS, predicting tomorrow, and artifact level 75 — now what?
Today I’m going to ask you all a question, dear Queue.
The Queue: Why are Tauren the best?
Because man, they really are. I sincerely hope we get Taunka and Yaungol as Allied Races in the future. So far I’ve been disappointed with the selection on the Allied Races — each side has two Elves now, for example, and then basically duplicates of races they already have (so two Tauren and two Trolls for Horde and new Dwarves and Draenei for Alliance) but I’d be okay if we just kept getting variant Tauren.
Well, it’s time for the Queue so let’s talk Blizzard.
The Queue: Droomba
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
I’m at that really annoying point in most legendary chains where you have to farm things for several weeks. Of course, the upside to this is that I’m basically vacuuming fire from the corpses of my slain enemies. I’m not sure if this is what the Guardians of Hyjal meant by “cleaning up the Firelands,” but I’ll take it.
The Queue: I think you would beat the moon in a pretty contest
I’m back, baby! It’s time for Mitch Queue Number Two: Return of the Knai-fu. Let’s dive right in.
