The Queue: Therizinosaurus

Also known as Therizinosaurus cheloniformis this species is one of the most fascinating and unique of the known dinosaurs. The name means reaping lizard or scythe lizard and much like the other members of its family, it was likely either a heavily herbivorous omnivore or an outright herbivore. Therizinosaurus was the largest (to date) of its family, and possessed six foot long claws on its forelimbs. It walked upright on two legs like other theropods but presented a more rearing posture in order to make use of those massive claws (they far exceeded its smallish head in size).

This has nothing to do with Blizzard or its games. I just love dinosaurs. Anyway, let’s talk about those games. Or dinosaurs. Hey, Blizz, put a dinosaur into Overwatch. Preferably one with power armor. I also like power armor.

The Queue: I’m back

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

I’ve been gone for two weeks. That means I’m probably going to spend the next two weeks unknowingly repeating what my fellow Watchers have already said over the course of the previous two. Enjoy the repetition!

Look, I’m not saying that Jonathan Carevin’s had a little too much coffee today, but evidence suggests maybe he should dial it back just a little.

The Queue: Like a haggis

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

Sometimes I find myself wondering what happened to the Stormwind guard after that whole Onyxia situation in vanilla — after all, they didn’t just discover that Prestor was Onyxia. She also revealed that a chunk of the Stormwind guard were dragons, too. I mean, it’s got to be a shock to discover that good old George — the buddy you were constantly sent on patrol with, the one who shared touching stories about his wife and kids, always shared his lunch, never complained about the long hours — was in fact hiding a set of black scales under his polite and affable exterior.

It’s a wonder they haven’t all gone mad, isn’t it?

The Queue: My nightmare come to life

So yesterday I went in for my second ‘Matt gets needles driven into his eyes’ session. Already, you can see why I’d have had a rough day. So then I decide to get The Queue written for today, and what’s the big header image? A gigantic eyeball monster.

This is The Queue. I had to look at a giant eyeball monster less than six hours after I had both of my eyes stabbed. I’m kind of freaking out over here.

The Queue: Pajamathur is the best

Wondering about the header image? I’ve got nothing to say beyond that headline. We didn’t even have any Heroes of the Storm questions today, but one fact is indisputable: Pajamathur is the best. There’s just no arguing with this sleepy Zerg cutie.

In fact, I think even myself and Mitch agree on this one, and we disagree on basically everything else. But what are we doing sitting around here arguing about what is an obvious fact? Mitch and I are here to tag-team your questions, so let’s get to it.

The Queue: It’s so fluffy

The new sheep models in Legion are ridiculously, adorably fluffy and sweet. Please don’t ask where this particular sheep is located. It…it’s better if you don’t know, really.
