World of Warcraft has been described many times as a "theme park MMO." That is to say: It has a large variety of different features, that try to appeal to all kinds of players.

Every so often, you get the kind of good news you never expected to hear.

Here's a little secret -- I don't do a lot of formal planning for running my D&D games.

I know some people who play WoW or other MMOs with the idea that they should be all about the group -- they pick their main based on what the group needs, they switch mains to suit the group's objectives, it's more important to them to play the role that they see needs playing.

I've already been really excited for the Avatar Legends TTRPG, because both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra are among my favorite animated series of the past decades, with Korra one of my favorite characters in animation.

It's a start.

My 2021 journey through the Soulsborne series is inching closer to its completion. The other day, I beat the final (non-DLC) boss of Dark Souls 2, which leaves just the DLC and then Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro left on my list of “to finish” Soulsborne games. For the unfamiliar, the games typically have a “choose your own ending” element to them — not surprisingly, I favor the endings that lead the world into an age of Dark.
