I have bad news and good news.

Diablo 4 Season 8 is now live!

My daughter is working on her Silver award for Girl Scouts. The gist of it is that she has to find a way to make her community a better place, then take action to do it. So, she’s working on a project to bring bird houses to (among others) retirement homes and libraries, as a way to make it more pleasant for both humans and strengthening the ecosystem as a whole, not just the birds. As such, I am helping her research which birds live in the area, which bird predators live in the area, and how to make a bird house safe and relatively predator-proof. You could call me a real bird brain right now.

This week's World of Warcraft maintenance isn't too bad, but The War Within servers are getting a slightly extended two-hour downtime.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime heist: to sneak into the biggest game convention around (celebrating much loved baking sim and MOBA Heroes of the Dough) and steal the esports trophy (which happens to be made of pretzels) from under everyone's noses (both literally and metaphorically).

This week, Wizards of the Coast updated the System Reference Document (SRD) for Dungeons and Dragons to version 5.2, making the game's 2024 rules available in an open source format.
