2024 was one of the years of all time. Today, we celebrate it.

One of the biggest features of our trip to Siren Isle in WoW's 11.0.7 patch is the promise of a brand new shiny ring to upgrade over time and fill with special gems that have magical powers.

By this point, a lot of World of Warcraft players have done a great deal of gearing up during Season 1 of The War Within, but there are still a lot of walls being hit by players at the high end -- achievements with some silly requirements, absurd amounts of crests needed to craft the highest tier of crafted item, and overtly punitive crest losses from failing a Mythic+ timer.

World of Warcraft has maintained a solid content cadence ever since the start of Dragonflight and the recently-revealed 2025 roadmap for The War Within demonstrates there’s no suggestion it’ll stop any time soon. The War Within patch 11.2.5 will launch the week of October 7, 2025.  Patch release consistency has improved over the past year so a default expectation of seven to eight weeks between patches seems like a safe bet.

After the freedom to fly all over Khaz Algar right off the bat in The War Within, it might come as a shock to players to not be able to fly again on the Siren Isle.

WoW patch 11.0.7 launches today, and even though it's a minor patch we're due for some major maintenance: The War Within servers were slated to be offline from 7am - 3pm pacific, but now they're back up!

We're off on our adventure to Siren Isle, and that means a new currency, Flame-Blessed Iron, to collect and spend on fabulous rewards.

The centerpiece of WoW patch 11.0.7 is Siren Isle, with its four new mounts and its fancy customizable ring, along with quests, story, and all the usual stuff you've come to expect from a World of Warcraft content patch.

This particular strat is supposed to be getting patched out of Hearthstone Battlegrounds by the time this Queue goes live, and good riddance. Sure, I hit a win with it every time, but at what cost? To be clear, I don’t hate the baller, I just hate the game.

One of the biggest changes made in our current patch (11.0.5) was that Blizzard went back and made it so Shadowlands raids were easier to solo.
