"Which is better?" is likely the question that everyone's asking, and the answers you are going to get are going to depend on what you're looking for in a game. Inside we discuss what Blizzard might learn from Grinding Gear Games sequel; but also, what Blizzard currently does better and what the entire genre can learn from these behemoths.

This whole week has been a total mess.

We've got a major Final Fantasy title releasing onto PC this week, a new metroidvania, a surprise remake of a popular action title, and a beautiful 2D souls-like to talk about this week! The lull in new releases has come to an end, and we're back to glorious gaming bliss.

I don’t know why this week feels so weird, like it is simultaneously Thursday and Saturday, but definitely not Friday. I assume that it’s because I haven’t been correctly turning pages on my dog-a-day calendar, because how can I know what the day is unless an adorable dog provides this information from my desk? Really, it’s impossible to know, and thus I have entered a state in which time has no meaning.

But I think it may actually be Friday… so here we go, let’s Queue.
