WoW Archivist: Money and Warcraft
The WoW Token is just the latest place where World of Warcraft and real money collide.
Breakfast Topic: Do you miss scenarios?
I miss scenarios. I miss them a lot. Introduced in Mists of Pandaria, scenarios were nice little chunks of content that could be run with three people -- and you didn't need to fill any particular roles to complete them.
BlizzCaps: Half the world in sweetness, the other in fear
"Sometimes, it's the moments in between battles that truly allow us to perceive our purpose amid the glory of the universe," writes submitter Benjamin, who must be in a more contemplative mood than most of us.
Breakfast Topic: What happens when we leave our garrisons behind?
At the end of Mists of Pandaria, we left Pandaria behind (most of us gladly) along with our own little bit of farmland.
Know Your Lore: The legacy of Garrosh Hellscream
This is the story of an orc whose life played full circle, ending where it began -- before it began actually, in an odd twist of fate, time and a little bronze magic. It plays in counterpoint to the tale of Emperor Shaohao, who hid away his kingdom, so confident and prideful in himself and his people's abilities that he was certain they would thrive in abject isolation from the rest of the world. The orc, on the other hand, came from an absence of pride into a sudden and overwhelming abundance of it... and it slowly ate him alive.
Power Word: Void Entropy and the double Discipline decision
It's been a little quiet for priests recently. Most of us are well on the way to finishing out tier bonuses and gathering trinkets. Much of the discussion in the debut priest column was around Void Entropy so I wanted to take a stab at that and see what could be done to make the talent more appealing.
Breakfast Topic: Getting around to content
I didn't really work on pet battles all that much in Mists of Pandaria.
How to get the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera and take great photos
Even if you've left World of Warcraft behind, you can't have missed the selfie craze that's been sweeping through Azeroth.
Role Play: Draenei and age in roleplay
Introduced in Burning Crusade, this race of space-traveling eredar who avoided corruption by Sargeras has a story that spans back thousands upon thousands of years, longer than even the history of the night elves -- and with far less definition. If you want a solid list of historical references and events that shape your character, playing a human, orc or even elf would probably suit you nicely. If you want a gigantic expanse of absolutely nothing that you can proceed to fill at your leisure, you might want to look at a draenei.
BlizzCrafts: A cavalcade of Pepes
More than perhaps any other character in Warlords of Draenor, Pepe has become an in-game (and out of game) sensation, with legions of screenshots, fan art, song, and even cosplay.
