Cataclysm Classic Phase 2 is officially live!

Cataclysm Classic Phase 4 is scheduled to arrive in January 2025, and while Blizzard has not yet confirmed a date, we estimate the phase will begin Tuesday January 7, 2025 with the raid content launching Thursday January 9, 2025.

In a twist, part of Cataclysm Classic Phase 3 launched early, on September 17, 2024 while the rest of the phase's launch happens over time on October 29 and November 7.  Originally, Phase 3 was scheduled to arrive in October 2024 and we haven't seen a Classic phase release earlier than intended before, so a part of the phase being moved up is a bit surprising.

Cataclysm Classic is on the way and as always a new expansion brings new enchants and new gems to give your character power above what gear can provide.

World of Warcraft Classic latest expansion, Cataclysm Classic, launched on May 20, followed shortly by the release of the expansion's first phase a week later.

Cataclysm Classic's first planned phase officially kicked off May 28 and is now in full swing with the launch of three raid dungeons!

The World of Warcraft Cataclysm Classic pre-patch is now live, bringing an overhaul of changes to questing, player leveling, class systems, and the introduction of two new playable races and much (much!) more in this complete overhaul of WoW Classic.

When Cataclysm Classic launches on May 20, players will be immediately available to fly (almost) anywhere in World of Warcraft Classic, which is bit differently than how flying worked in Burning Crusade Classic and Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Instead of being locked behind max level and an ungodly currency sink, most WoW Classic players can easily access the flying trainer to help them traverse through a different Azeroth.

World of Warcraft's next Classic expansion will be Cataclysm Classic, launching on May 20, 2024.

In the last two weeks, World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery just launched its third phase and Wrath Classic received the first of two Cataclysm Classic pre-patch events but these two releases are the calm before the storm, so to speak.
