The World of Warcraft's patch 11.0.5, and its centerpiece 20th anniversary event, are both now live, bringing with them a plethora of activities to do -- as well as the all-important sweet, sweet cosmetic loot.

One of new features arriving alongside Warbands in The War Within prepatch is the ability to directly transfer currency between characters.

Tarnished Undermine Real is a new currency added in WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 4 that players get from defeating level 55+ higher dungeon bosses once a day and can be used to buy gear from a new vendor in Booty Bay.

Okay, Watchers, rise and shine, and don’t forget your booties ’cause it’s cold outs– wait, this isn’t an audition for Groundhog Day? Whoops!

My weekend involved cleaning the house and my emails. I still managed to play a bunch* of Diablo 3 at the kickoff of Season 30. This is the Queue — I am definitely not your regularly scheduled Cory, but we’ll still have fun today.

(* more than 12 hours and that’s all I’m going to say about it.)

WoW Dragonflight patch 10.1 added new gear and currencies you can earn from new activities and use in conjunction with each other to upgrade the gear you get, so you can do the activities at a higher level, earn more currency and gear, and then upgrade your gear again...you see how this cycle goes.

I feel like it's fair to say that by the end of Shadowlands (if you’ve been playing this whole time), you are running around with a fair amount of currency.

Shadowlands patch 9.2.5 is a unique one for a final patch of an expansion.

Every patch in Shadowlands brings new currencies, and patch 9.2 is no different, bringing us Cosmic Flux as the currency you'll need to gear up.

Shadowlands already has plenty of different currencies, and patch 9.1 will be adding a few more to go alongside the new raid and the Torghast rework.

I'll say this up front -- I hope you end up liking the Archivist's Codex and their new resource, Catalogued Research, because you're going to be spending a lot of it in patch 9.1, thanks to the incoming catch up gear mechanics that will be coming from Korthia in the upcoming patch.
