It took over 40-some-odd tries, but I finally managed to get the Outlaw Mage Tower challenge appearance just under the wire. I don’t actually play Outlaw on my Rogue — the last time I saw that spec it was called Combat and I was raiding Icecrown Citadel. But it’s easily the prettiest out of all of the Rogue weapon appearances, so I’m glad I got my hands on it, even if I had to drop a chunk of gold on flasks, elixirs, and food in the process. Thanks, Legion. If I ever get around to picking up swords again, I know what I’m using for transmog.

My only regret with the end of this expansion is that eventually I’m going to run out of alts to use silly toys on during cinematic sequences. Let’s hope Battle for Azeroth is full of many more opportunities in which our characters can take their place in the annals of history as…an egg. Or a tree. Or a murloc. Or the rear end of a horse. Or, you know, whatever else you’ve got kicking around in the ol’ Toy Box.
You know what I’ve got kicking around? Questions from you guys. Let’s answer those, shall we?

It’s been ten years. Actually, it’s been longer than that — the Avast Ye, Admiral! achievement was added to the game on October 14, 2008, but I beat down a lot of pirates and got a hat somewhere in Burning Crusade. However, I never got around to finishing off the Insane achievement, mostly because I didn’t think I had everything required for it. Last week, I finished polishing off Exalted with Ravenholdt — because I like green bars — and as I did, Insane in the Membrane popped up.
I don’t know if I’ll ever use the title, but I appreciate the sentiment regardless. Let’s get to your questions!

I went back to do the Dominance Offensive quest chain on an Allied Race alt and man, I still wonder what Thrall was thinking when he put this guy in charge. I mean…people skills should probably be part of the job description, you know?

I didn’t realize the Warlords garrison perpetually updated with Battle Pets after the expansion was over, so imagine my surprise to find Khadgar’s disembodied head and Uuna just strolling along without a care in the world. Or, well, floating along in Khadgar’s case. Either way, Dadghar and the Dead Girl sounds like an amazing title for a Saturday morning cartoon. Uuna gets into mischief, Khadgar tries to keep her out of it, but he has no corporeal body. Hijinks ensue.

Maybe we didn’t get an Animal Crossing announcement for the Switch at E3, but at least I can find a charming and friendly alpaca in Battle for Azeroth, right? Look, I’ll take what I can get, and what I can get is absolutely adorable. Let’s answer your questions!

Why yes, yes I did spend a chunk of my vacation grinding rep with the Tillers and earning best friendship with all the farmers so that I could rescue a dog. Look, we all have our priorities.
My priorities now are answering your questions, so let’s get to that, shall we?

One of those weird little things I look forward to in every expansion is the artwork. Not like, the game design artwork of the world around me, I mean the paintings and scrolls and other artistic objects kicking around said world. Every expansion tends to add something new, and every expansion tends to remind me how much I’d like prints of these things. Really, Blizzard, can we get some fancy art prints of Azeroth’s fancy art? Pretty please?

What’s that puff of ice and snow behind me, you ask? Totally not a new mount raised from the dead. I mean, that would be a terrible thing to do. Absolutely horrible. I’d never do such a thing.
…I really liked the Death Knight Class Hall campaign. It was creepy as all get out.
