Transmog

It’s 2 am as I write this. It’s been a heck of a week, some good, some really bad. I’m listening to Everlong by the Foo Fighters.I spent much of yesterday messing around with transmog and putting together this sweet mog for my DK. I like to think she hangs around the Paladins and acts all confused when they don’t like her.

Let’s get this Queue train rolling.

I had a whole cool intro written to this Queue, but then WordPress ate it and I have to write the whole thing over again except I’m completely furious with the thing and so, that’s not happening. Instead, enjoy the picture of my Death Knight using a 2h sword my original Tauren Warrior used back in BC. I love the Wardrobe. Let’s talk about Blizzard games.

As I write this, patch 7.0 and its various class and spec changes and other systemic alterations to World of Warcraft has gone live or is about to go live (for those of you in Europe).

We knew the Burning Legion was going to invade Azeroth before Legion arrived on August 30.

The Wardrobe is will be here on July 19 when patch 7.0 launches.

One of the things about games like World of Warcraft is that character progression is very much tied to gear, and gear is tied to the use of your time in the game.

Kind of a rough week for me. Floods, exiles, angry cats, it’s all been pretty horrible. I’m writing this Queue from a hotel room and I don’t know when I’ll get to go home again. But at least we’re all here, right?

Let’s talk Blizzard games. I could use the distraction.

One of the great things about the new Wardrobe system coming in Legion is all the stuff I’m unlocking that I entirely forgot about. For example, since I leveled in Vanilla, I’ve done the old Warrior level 20 to mid 30’s quest chain that ended with the Whirlwind weapons, and as a result, I can transmog to all three. Also, I have the Garrosh heirloom 2h axe, and so, I can transmog to that.

I also have Linken’s Sword of Mastery, and I expect I’ll come up with a tanking transmog set built around it.
