Warcraft 3 Reforged

In 2017, Blizzard did a really big Gamescom reveal, with Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft all seeing fairly large announcements, as well as Overwatch dropping the Mei short video for folks.

If, like me, you love the lore of Warcraft 3 but have a hard time getting the old game to run properly and wish you could see the story unfold without it, there are a few options -- for example, you could wait for Warcraft 3 Reforged, which will likely remake all of the in-game cinematics with its new art assets.

The Tides of Vengeance are fast approaching in World of Warcraft, bringing with them a cornucopia of new mounts to collect.

During BlizzCon 2018, Dan O'Halloran and I had the opportunity to sit down and talk Warcraft 3: Reforged with Systems Game Designer Michael "Skip" Scipione and Production Director Tim Morten.

As far back as I can remember Blizzard has been known for their amazing cinematic trailers, and this year's BlizzCon was no exception.

The surprise announcement of the convention was definitely the Warcraft 3 remaster, and now we'll get all of the details (or as many as Blizzard is willing to share).

During the BlizzCon 2018 opening ceremonies, Pete Stillwell of Blizzard's Classic Games department didn't waste any time in stepping up and delivering a game people have been salivating for and about for years and years.
