Which WoW expansion do you prefer to level in?

Now that World of Warcraft lets you choose between all of its previous expansions up to Battle for Azeroth to level from 10 to 50 in, I’m curious about which one you folks are choosing the most often. Do you prefer Legion, with its complete freedom to choose between all the zones, playing them in any order that you like? Or are you choosing Warlords, which had a very strong, streamlined story and a lot of options in terms of gameplay in the leveling zones? Maybe you’re a purist, and you choose the post-Cataclysm world of Azeroth, doing the entirety of 10 to 50 in the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. I personally have tried Wrath of the Lich King‘s Northrend and Pandaria from Mists of Pandaria the most so far, and both have their pros and cons — I love the story in Pandaria, but Wrath has a lot of ground to cover and I can usually level up pretty quickly there.

In fact, one of the problems I have leveling nowadays is picking an expansion. It feels weird to me to just do Exile’s Reach, get off the boat in Stormwind, and then just go straight to Kul Tiras… but it also feels weird to go find Chromie and go to Outland. I mean, it’s not like I’m going to get to see the continuation of the experience — I’m going to start off opposing Illidan’s Illidari and the Legion, but around level 50 I’ll nope out to the Shadowlands and leave the whole thing unresolved, and it feels kind of strange to me sometimes.

But I’m weird that way, and I do want to know what y’all are thinking. Maybe you’re a big Cataclysm fan and you level in the original endgame zones it added? Or you always hit Legion up because you can scale the Artifact up with relics as you level and you prefer the story?  What expansion do you level up in nowadays?
