Look, I get that I’m probably the only person who loved Titanfall 2 for its story, but it was also a really great game about a young mech named BT-7274 who loses one friend, makes another, and gives his life to save his new friend the way he couldn’t save the one he lost. It is a touching story about a robot with a heart of gold who loves his little buddy, and I desperately want a sequel so I can find out if BT managed to get his AI into said little buddy’s helmet or not.

So yeah, this whole thing bums me out. Nothing against Apex Legends or Jedi Fallen Order, but man, I legit got teary eyed when BT sacrificed himself and when I saw the helmet flashing at the end of the game and realized BT was trying to say help, I’m stuck in a helmet and Jack does not wash his hair enough, it really stinks in here I was so excited at the idea that we’d get a Titanfall 3 that would explore this, oh, and yeah people who love the multiplayer would be happy too and I guess that’s important.

But mostly I wanted more BT. Anyway, looks like that’s not happening for a while. And I am sad about it. Let’s all pile into the Queue.

I don't get why World of Warcraft doesn't have Bards.

I stop playing games for a variety of reasons.

I mean, straight up, transmog has made me love so, so many games — from World of Warcraft to Assassin's Creed Odyssey I enjoy playing dress up with my little POV character almost as much as getting a compelling story or satisfying gameplay loops.

We have a rumor that there's an Overwatch 2 in the works at Blizzard, although it sounds less like as direct sequel and more like a different kind of game entirely -- according to the rumors, people inside Blizzard have compared it to Left 4 Dead. Based on what I know bout L4D, that makes me wonder if Overwatch 2 is going to be a prequel, since in the Overwatch setting a good alternative to zombie hordes would be, well, robot hordes.

Well, we've heard the rumors and we've had time to process it: We've lost Ares, a potential StarCraft FPS game along the lines of the Battlefield series.

As is the case with any rumor, you can't be sure, but Kotaku has posted an article stating that various Blizzard sources have spoken to them off the record about the cancellation of an in-house StarCraft FPS game along the lines of the Battlefield series, in order to focus on both the Overwatch and Diablo franchises, which will be the big focuses of this year's BlizzCon.

Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment's new battle royale game Apex Legends borrows heavily from Overwatch to create something unique in the popular genre, and it may have beaten Blizzard to the punch.
