New battle pets and battle pet achievements have been datamined from the latest patch 6.2 PTR build.

In an announcement in the early hours of the morning, the development team released the launch date for Heroes of the Storm. Mark your calendars for June 2, 2015.

If you have a level 3 garrison Giada Goldenleash or Tiffy Trapspring will come to visit bearing three new pet-related toys and four new battle pets, provided you've got enough Pet Charms.

The latest build to the 6.2 PTR has seen a few more additions to the pet journal, as well as a new batch of legendary encounters described in the patch notes. Most of the new pets come from Fel-Touched Pet Supplies, granted from completing the new pet encounters in Tanaan Jungle.

I have a few characters I play fairly casually, lined up with several scavengers. Those toons have all been riding the resource cap for months. My main is in pretty rough shape, though.

If you want to get to Tanaan Jungle in 6.2, you're going to need garrison resources. Lots of garrison resources.

There are a number of new, exciting pets coming coming in patch 6.2.

This point is usually the time when I take a minute to sit back and fill all the gaps in my battle pet collection. While there are many Draenor battle pets that are rather obvious grabs while you're out exploring, there are some that aren't quite as easy to stumble across. Here are a few pets you may have missed.

When the Menagerie's pet XP yield was nerfed in patch 6.1, new traveling NPCs Erris and Kura began visiting our garrisons as a consolation XP boost. Now even that cold comfort has been taken away, due to an exploit.
