Warchief Gaming reveals their first project, and it’s a D&D campaign setting
I can't pretend I'm surprised that Chris Metzen's Warchief Gaming announced today that they're making a campaign setting for Dungeons and Dragons' 5e ruleset.
When will Diablo 3 Season 23 start? April 2!
It's official: Diablo 3 Season 23 will start on April 2, just five days after Season 22 ends on March 28. While a rapid turnaround, this falls in line with how the Diablo team has handled longer seasons — like Season 22 — by leaving a very short gap between Seasons. I'd predicted either April 2 or April 9 launch for Season 23, and while I though we'd get the full 12 day break between Seasons, it turned out that Blizzard wants to get the Season to us sooner.
Korthia will be a new Daily Quest hub to the Maw, but are Daily Quests actually good content?
The Maw zone Korthia will be added in patch 9.1, and I for one am utterly ambivalent about it.
How much “RPG” should there be in an Action-RPG?
This may sound like a weird thing to ask, but I've been thinking about Diablo 4 and how the Action-RPG has evolved over the years, and how the storytelling on games like Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 centers the player and their choices.
The Queue: Spacing out
I’ve now done all of the Cyberpunk 2077 endings. My canon one for my V is the one with the Aldecaldos, but I like them all, except the really sad one. You’ll know which one if you’ve played it. Anyway, here’s V in space.
So, what’re y’all up to?
How should open-world questing deal with lots of players?
I've been thinking about those Blazing Ingots again.
Even after a spawn rate hotfix The Maw’s Blazing Ingots daily quest item can still only be looted by one player, and makes me deeply unhappy
In case you didn't know -- and I say this because I didn't -- there's been a change to the Blazing Ingot daily quest in the Maw that makes an already tedious experience painful to the point of futility.
The Queue: Yep, still playing Cyberpunk
I’ve done two of the five (or six? I hear conflicting things) endings so far and I’m working on a third, just to get to see them, before going back to completing the entire world, which is going to take me a very long time. I just found Johnny’s old car, which was fun.
Anyway, it’s the Queue, and I’m wondering if Diablo 2: Resurrected will be out by my birthday. Since that’s in December, I hope so.
How important are visual customization options to your gameplay?
World of Warcraft currently has the most diverse level of visual customization in the game's history.
What Blizzard game would you most like to see on consoles?
I've been thinking about how Diablo 2: Resurrected will be on practically every console, and how that's pretty awesome, but it also has me feeling greedy.
