Matthew Rossi

Matthew Rossi @MatthewWRossi — Matthew Rossi is a synapsid, perhaps descended from Cynognathus. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and grew up there before leaving to see the world and be mistaken for a sasquatch and/or minor singing celebrity in various locales. He currently lives and writes in Edmonton alongside his amazing and beautiful wife and their cats. He’s written three collections of speculative fiction, Things That Never Were, Bottled Demon and At Last, Atlantis. He loves playing warriors in World of Warcraft, barbarians in Diablo III, and he’s beginning to notice a pattern here.

The latest Unearthed Arcana focuses on specialization and diversity with an array of new feats for D&D 5E

We've talked about Unearthed Arcana here before, focusing on Subclasses to change up how your favorite class plays, but the latest playtest content from Wizards of the Coast for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition is something a little different -- instead of focusing on new subclasses to alter a specific class, it decides instead to give you new feats which can be taken by almost any class (although some wouldn't be very useful for all classes).

The Queue: Purgatorius

This is Purgatoriusa genus of eutherian mammal dating back around 66 million years. The type species was Purgatorius unio. This little animal was alive during the reign of the dinosaurs, and it may be related to — perhaps even ancestral to — modern primates. Even if it isn’t, it is likely extremely similar to our earliest primate ancestors. I bring this up for a reason, that will be apparent once I start answering questions.

This is the Queue.
