Matthew Rossi @MatthewWRossi — Matthew Rossi is a synapsid, perhaps descended from Cynognathus. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and grew up there before leaving to see the world and be mistaken for a sasquatch and/or minor singing celebrity in various locales. He currently lives and writes in Edmonton alongside his amazing and beautiful wife and their cats. He’s written three collections of speculative fiction, Things That Never Were, Bottled Demon and At Last, Atlantis. He loves playing warriors in World of Warcraft, barbarians in Diablo III, and he’s beginning to notice a pattern here.

What would you like to see if World of Warcraft added a sandbox creation tool?

I don't know if any of you played City of Heroes back in the day -- it shut down ten years ago, my God, I am literally aging to dust like that one villain in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade -- but one of the elements it had that fascinates me is that it had a content creator added at one point, where players could create small adventures for other players to experience.

The Queue: Untitled Moose Maim

Still playing a lot of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Kind of digging the Crusade mode, which is very much a small tactical wargame inside my isometric RPG. I mean, it’s not Warcraft 3 or anything, but you can name the armies whatever you want within the character limit. Somehow I went from The Fighting Mongooses to Goosemon to Man-Goose-Bear-Pig to this, my ultimate creation.

I’d love to play Untitled Moose Maim. I imagine it as a game where a moose maims people.

What? It doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes you just want to play a moose on a rampage. Look I live in Canada, you’ll just have to accept this.
