Everyone in the World of Warcraft community has been dying to know when player housing is coming to the game since Ion first slipped in a teaser trailer during the end of his segment at the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct.

Blizzard has announced some of the bigger updates and philosophies regarding PVP for the upcoming Midnight expansion, including a new 40v40 battleground and the addition of a Comp Stomp evergreen play mode.

The Midnight alpha is arriving soon -- October 2 -- and Blizzard has also furnished us with a set of phases and content we'll be seeing as the alpha continues.

We keep getting tantalizing teases of World of Warcraft's upcoming player housing (which is coming on December 2 with patch 11.2.7); and while a lot of the features sound great -- no artificial scarcity!

World of Warcraft Midnight is on the horizon, and the beta test is now live!

After some early confusion, we finally got an official explanation on the upcoming changes to WoW's transmog system, though there are still some questions to be answered.

Each of the new zones in World of Warcraft Midnight will have zone-specific events and open world activities that include a variety of objectives designed to interest all types of players.

After a few weeks of post-Gamescom waiting, Blizzard suddenly released a positive deluge of information on all of its World of Warcraft: Midnight announcements.

Information is still filtering out from Gamescom, but one thing we have seen from Blizzard’s Developer Deep Dive Panel was an update on their push to eliminate the need for third party combat addons.

With the confusing firehose of Midnight information that was Gamescom 2025 dried up, it's time to take a breath and reflect on which of the announced features of the next World of Warcraft expansion we are most excited about.
