Hi, I'm Matthew Rossi, and you may know me from such posts as my recurring what's the best class to play in Season X of Diablo 3 posts, where I just say Barbarian over and over again.

Diablo 2 Resurrected is due out September 23, and we at Blizzard Watch cannot wait!

This is one of those moments I've speculated about for years but didn't expect to happen.

You can level up fast in Diablo 2: Resurrected by playing Diablo 2: Resurrected.

Gearing up in Diablo 2: Resurrected is at once much easier in concept than in more modern ARPGs, while also being somewhat complicated in terms of discussing the finer points.

One thing the Diablo series has always been hit or miss on is story -- there are some amazing moments in all three of the current games, but some real clunkers too, and I'm still mad that Leah just gets her body stolen and presumably her soul sent to the Burning Hells and we never do anything to help her or even find out for sure if there's anything left of her.

When we ask a question in the headline of a post, we're expected to answer it — so when we ask Should you play Diablo 2: Resurrected on console or PC? you'd be forgiven for being frustrated with answers like yes or it depends or whichever, it really doesn't matter.

My various Warriors absolutely want the Barbarian's Arsenal system from the Diablo 4 beta I played at BlizzCon 2019.

I'm not limiting this one to single-player games, because quite a few people play MMOs more or less as solo players.
